苏州重元寺



苏州重元寺始建于南北朝梁武帝时期，与寒山寺、灵岩寺、保圣寺同时代，距今已有1500多年历史。岁月流转中，重元寺历经磨难，位于苏州工业园区草鞋山附近的寺庙原址上如今只剩下一间破败不堪的偏殿。现恢复重建后的重元寺坐落在阳澄湖畔，占地两百多亩。
